was just listening to the mumford and sons album (a-may-zing) and was thinking back to the night when i went to see them (and met them, yaaay!)
i love those tights!!!! :)
they were absoultely beautiful live, they played a few new tracks aswell which sound like they’re gonna be as popular as the stuff they have out now. every single member of the band is so talented, all play various instruments and the atmosphere was so good.
yes i am that annoying person at gigs taking lots of photos…..soz.
marcus the lead singer used to be laura marlings drummer and i remember seeing him on tour with her when they supported jack penate. laura is doing incredibly well herself now, but its nice to see that mumford and sons have equally earned recognition.
me and my sister went for a drink after the gig, and stumbled upon them whilst sipping our cocktails in the bar Mojo. i was very excited (to say the least) and gushed about how amazing i thought the gig was and how i was really excited about the new stuff…….embarrassssssing i know!! (baring in mind, i had a mumford and sons BADGE on my denim jacket, which my sister found on the FLOOR in the academy the gig was in… i must have looked so cool :|)
despite an over enthusiastic mojito slurping fan, marcus was very pleasant and i got a photo with him :) it has only fueled my love for the mumford boys, and yes, i do mention ive met him if i hear their songs being played. haha.
just seen laura marling on jools holland actually, shes so beautiful in her quirky way. i think shes very endearing, not a common quality in musicians today.
well, thats all for now!
peace and love. x.x.x.
